I am a graduate from the Nova Scotia Agricultural college (2003), with a degree in agriculture and science, with a major in animal science. I was a varsity soccer athlete for my four years at the AC, and this allowed me to have many great experiences and memories thoroughout my undergraduate
degree.
I love to read, and have a love for horseback riding, and play a variety of sports. I have also been fortunate enough to have done a fair bit of traveling in the last 5 years to different countries in Europe and china. I have been able to see many
ways that people live and how life styles are greatly different wherever you go. I can be quiet at times but once you get to know me I am usually quite talkative.I am a hard worker and willing to try new things and because of my love of sports I have coached in the past
and would love for the opportunity to do it again. I would love to teach Secondary Science, there is so much potential with the variety of experiments and different
labs you can try with the students it makes me really excited to start my career. I have been fortunate enough to have worked as an Educational Assistant for 3 years at a school that is k-4, helping student mostly who were struggling with reading. I believe this will help me greatly when I start my career.
I don't have alot of experience with technology, I use my computer mostly for emailing and communicating with family and friends who aren't close. Though I don't think I am as technologically challenged as I usually think I am! But I could be wrong.
